Acer has introduced its first Windows 10 notebooks and they will be available for as little as $169. The Aspire One Cloudbook series notebooks are either 11 or 14-inches. Both devices have entry-level specs and the Cloudbook series has an emphasis on cloud services, much like Chromebooks.

The Cloudbook uses an Intel Celeron processor, 2 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of solid-state storage (upgradeable to 64 GB). No fans are used in the notebooks and both models have 1366x768 displays.
Acer's 11-inch Cloudbook is 2.54 pounds and 17.9 mm thick. It will arrive later this month for $169. The 14-inch model weighs 3.5 pounds and will go on sale next month at $199.
Included with the devices is a one-year Office 365 subscription, 1 TB of OneDrive storage, and access to Acer's cloud-based abApps. |
