Nanya Technology saw its July revenues increase 2.4% sequentially while fellow DRAM company Inotera Memories' revenues stayed almost flat.

Nanya has reported consolidated revenues of NT$3.53 billion (US$111 million) for July 2015, down 19.7% from a year earlier, however. The company totaled NT$26.71 billion in year-to-date revenues, down 4.6% compared to the same period in 2014.

Inotera estimated July consolidated revenues at NT$5.14 billion, representing decreases of 0.3% on month and about 27% on year. The company's cumulative 2015 revenues through July should total NT$39.84 billion, a 17.93% decline from a year ago, the company estimated.

Both Nanya and Inotera generated lower revenues and profits in the second quarter of 2015, due to falling DRAM prices. Inotera warned that its DRAM ASPs would remain under downward pressure, while Nanya predicted its ASPs would fall by a high single-digit percentage.

According to a recent DRAMeXchange report, contract prices for mainstream 4GB DDR3 modules are set to fall below the US$20 threshold at some point in the third quarter of 2015.
