Apple's iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are just around the corner and among the reports that are coming out about the phones is a prediction from analysts that neither phone will be particularly popular. KGI Securities believes the phones won't see massive sales because they don't include features many people will care about.
Force Touch is one of the big, new features rumored to be included with the phones but KGI says Force Touch won't attract many customers. It isn't as important as Siri or Touch ID, two features that increased sales of previous iPhones.
KGI also reports China's economy isn't doing well and that could result in fewer iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus sales in the country.
Sales will be between 65 and 75 million in the launch quarter, compared to 74.5 million last year with the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. That would result in zero or negative year-to-year growth. |
