Apple's current flagship smartphone comes with only 1 GB of RAM, which is too low when compared to 4 GB on some Android flagship smartphones. While almost everyone is expecting the iPhone 6s to boast 2GB of RAM, it looks like that is not going to happen.

According to a Geekbench 3 screenshot, the new iPhone 6S will still have only 1 GB of RAM. The picture shows a purported iPhone 6s with iOS 9, Apple A9 chipset, 989 MB of RAM and is referred to as "iPhone 8,2," which is the same identification found in Fiksu's logs. We can only hope the benchmark shows wrong data and that the phone will have 2 GB of RAM.

On the other hand, German provider Deutsche Telekom is already taking iPhone 6s pre-orders. The carrier has released a reservation form that allows customers to sign up for the latest iteration of the Apple iPhone. Since the phone is not yet official, the carrier did not name the specific iPhone model that it will ship out to customers.
