Preorders of the recently introduced Samsung Galaxy Note 5 are now shipping and arriving in the United States. Preorders opened up for the phone hours after Samsung announced the device on Thursday. Both the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ are available for preorder and they will officially be released on August 21. Though, some preorders are already headed out to customers from US wireless carriers.

Android Central reports multiple customers have received shipping notices on their preorders and a few people have even received their units already.

It appears as though a lot of US customers will receive their Galaxy Note 5 units ahead of schedule.
