So far, Samsung has been the only manufacturer that has a smartphone with curved edge display, but not for long. LG is preparing to challenge its biggest competitor and its Edge lineup of smartphones with the new "G Edge" handset, which has been demoed at CES.

While the smartphone at CES was a prototype, LG showed it already has a working smartphone with dual curved edge OLED display. The company has recently filed trademarks for the "G Edge" and a couple of other names related to "Edge". At the moment, there are no details on the final name, but LG could launch the phone early next year.
