Oppo, a Chinese company, is expanding the availability of its fast-charging R7 Plus smartphone. The handset had been available exclusively in China, but it is expanding to other markets in Southeast Asia. Oppo's phone has a 6-inch display, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of expandable storage, a fingerprint reader, and an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor.
The device is thin at 7.75 mm, but it still includes a large 4100 mAh battery. Oppo's VOOC fast-charging tech is found on the phone, allowing users to receive two hours of talk time with five minutes of charging.
In China and other markets, the Oppo R7 Plus costs 2,999 yuan ($470). More countries will receive the handset through the Oppo Style store. |
