Microsoft is rumoured to launch its new flagship smartphones, the Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL, next month, on October 19. According to NokiaPowerUser's source who is familiar with the matter, Microsoft will announce new handsets during an event in New York.

The same source is also saying that both the Surface Pro 4 tablet as well as a new Microsoft Band could be unveiled during the same event. As with every rumour, this is not confirmed and could be changed, but if the rumours are really true, then we'll finally see a new Windows Phone flagship smartphones.
