Ahead of the IFA event in Berlin, LG announced a new G Pad II 10.1 tablet. The new tablet brings a noticeable improvement over the predecessor, unlike the recently announce G Pad II 8.0. The company will detail the price and availability at IFA next month.

The new LG tablet comes with improved innards. Although it is a two years old, the Snapdragon 800 is still a high-end SoC, and the RAM has been doubled to 2 GB. As the name suggest, it has a 10.1-inch display with WUXGA resolution. The only thing that got downgraded is a battery, which has a capacity of 7,400 mAh compared 8,000 mAh on predecessor.
