New details suggest that Amazon might be working on a new tablet with big 12-inch display, which might be released in limited quantities. Looks like big tablets are popular nowadays with Samsung working on an 18.4-inch one, and Apple plans to release iPad Pro.

The company plans to use high-end innards, but it has only placed orders for less than 100,000 units per month, just to "test the waters." There is still no word on the exact release date, but the Amazon's 12-inch tablet will be out in the next couple of months.
