Preorders have begun for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablets. The 8 and 9.7-inch tablets are going to be released in the United States on September 3. The 8-inch model begins at $399.99 and the larger 9.7-inch model comes in at $499.99. Both tablets will be available in black, white, and gold. Samsung is going to sell WiFi and LTE models through AT&T, Sprint, US Cellular, T-Mobile, and Verizon.

These tablets were launched by Samsung earlier in the summer. Both are thin and light, coming in at 9.4 ounces (8-inch) and 13.8 ounces (9.7-inch). Both models are 5.6 mm thick, compared to the iPad Air 2's 6.1 mm.
Android 5.0 is running on the Galaxy Tab S2 tablets and both versions have an octa-core processor, Super AMOLED 2048x1536 display, and 8-megapixel rear camera. |
