Samsung Electronics expects sales of its new flagship model, the Galaxy Note 5, in the Taiwan market to reach over 50,000 units in the first month of launch.
Sales the Galaxy Note 5 in the first weekend was 20% higher than the corresponding figures of the Galaxy Note 4 launched a year earlier, according to Samsung Taiwan.
The strategy to encourage current Galaxy Note subscribers to take up new models to replace the old ones in a trade-off package has helped push up sales, the vendor said.
Meanwhile, the vendor also announced the availability of its Galaxy Note 5 64GB in the local market starting August 26. |
