While we might not see the iPhone 6c at the upcoming Apple event that takes place on September 9, the company plans to discontinue the current iPhone 5c. The phone will no longer be available as soon as Apple announces a new generation of iPhone smartphones.

You might think iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus would be discontinued too, but that is not the case. Other "old" smartphones will still be around. It is still confusing whether or not Apple will announce iPhone 6c, as some reports say it will, and others say the opposite.
