Samsung might be the first to introduce the Edge smartphone, but many manufacturers are preparing their Edge phones and the latest one to join the battle is Xiaomi. The company is now rumoured to be working on Xiaomi Mi Edge smartphone, if that is the real name.

Considering the Mi5 flagship smartphone is expected to arrive soon, maybe the company will announce the Mi Edge as well. The smartphone is expected to pack a 5.2-inch Quad HD display manufactured by Sharp, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and either 3GB of 4GB of RAM. Other specs include a fingerprint scanner and a 16 MP main camera and might have a metal unibody.
