There's a new 4K iMac on the way, according to a recent report. Apple is said to have a 4K 21.5-inch iMac in the works that will be announced in October and ship in early November. Given the company already has a 5K 27-inch iMac on the market, a smaller 4K computer seems to be a worthwhile addition to Apple's product line.

Apple will announce the new iMac alongside the release of OS X El Capitan.

This news comes ahead of Apple's big September 9 event that will be used to introduce iPhones, iPads, and a new Apple TV.
