Nanya Technology saw its August revenues increase around 2% sequentially while fellow DRAM company Inotera Memories' revenues fell nearly 5%.
Nanya has announced consolidated revenues of about NT$3.6 billion (US$110 million) for August 2015, up 1.9% on month but down 19.3% on year. Nanya's revenues totaled NT$30.31 billion for the first eight months of 2015, decreasing 6.6% from a year ago.
Inotera estimated August revenues at NT$4.88 billion, representing declines of 4.99% sequentially and 27.3% compared to August 2014. Inotera's cumulative 2015 revenues through August would total NT$44.74 billion, down 18.7% from a year earlier.
Inotera guided previously its DRAM bit shipments for the third quarter of 2015 would be flat or drop slightly compared to the previous quarter. Its DRAM ASPs would also fall on quarter, the company added.
Nanya indicated its DRAM bit shipments are expected to rise sequentially in the third quarter, but ASPs would drop by a high single-digit percentage on quarter. |
