At the same day when Google is expected to announce new Nexus handsets, HTC plans to hold a press conference in Japan where it will also announce a new phone, the flagship One A9. There is no confirmation it will be the One A9, but we haven't heard about any other phone from HTC.

The source also says to expect two models to be announced, the One A9 and new Japan-exclusive Butterfly. The latter will come with a polycarbonate construction, a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, an octa-core Snapdragon 810, 3 GB of RAM, a 20 MP Duo camera, and a 13 MP selfie shooter.

As for the One A9, expect a 5.2-inch Quad HD display with a 2.5D glass, a MediaTek deca-core Helio X20 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 3,500 mAh and a full metal unibody.
