The successor to the first ever Tizen-based smartphone is closer to the launch than we think. The Samsung Z3 handset has visited the FCC, and as we are only a week away from the Tizen Developer Conference in Shenzhen, we could see the announcement there.

It is still unclear what markets will get the new Tizen smartphone, but recent rumours have excluded the United States from the list. As for the specs, expect the latest Tizen v3.0 operating system, a 5-inch 720p display, Snapdragon 410 chipset with 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage, and 8 MP + 5 MP camera combo.
