While we are waiting for Snapdragon 820 to launch, Qualcomm has officially confirmed some of the chipset's specifications during a presentation in Hong Kong. The Snapdragon 820 is a flagship chipset that is expected to launch in various flagship phones in the first half of 2016.
While there are some rumours about it, we now know for sure it will offer premium 4G LTE and Wi-Fi technologies. It supports LTE Category 12 in the downlink and Category 13 in the uplink, which is up to 33% and 200$ improvement over its predecessor.
There is also an Advanced Closed Loop Antenna Tuning when paired with the QFE2550 Antenna Tuner, which optimizes RF performance in real network conditions and reduce dropped calls.
