A very inexpensive tablet has been unveiled by Amazon. The company now has a 7-inch Fire tablet that only costs $50. Since the tablet doesn't cost much, Amazon is even offering a six pack of the tablets that includes one for free. Given its price tag, the Fire tablet definitely doesn't have impressive specs.

Included with the device is a 1024 x 600 display, 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 8 GB of storage, 1 GB of RAM, and front and rear cameras. It offers 7 hours of battery life and is running Fire OS.
Amazon says the device is more durable than the iPad Air and its processing power is greater than Samsung's $140 Tab 3 Lite. |
