Xiaomi will announce the Mi 4c smartphone on September 22, a day after LG's event. Ahead of the event, Xiaomi's CEO Jun Lei has revealed some of the specifications. The biggest surprise is the addition of USB Type-C port, but will also come with microUSB adapter.

What we only don't know is whether it is USB 2.0 or USB 3.0. Jun Lei has also confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi 4c will have a 64-bit hexa-core Snapdragon 808 SoC with Adreno 418 graphics, 5-inch 1080p display, 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB of RAM and storage, a 13 MP rear and a 5 MP front camera, and a 3,000+ mAh battery.

As for the pricing, the 16 GB model will retail around 1,299 Yuan ($200) and the 32 GB model will be around 1,499 Yuan ($240).
