John Legere, CEO of T-Mobile, has revealed in a tweet that preorders of the iPhone 6s are up 30% compared to the iPhone 6's preorders last year. Preorders for the recently launched iPhone 6s and 6s Plus began on September 12. Apple has already said there have been enough orders that these devices are "on pace" to surpass the early sales numbers of the last generation of iPhones.
Since these phones are in between core iPhone generations, few changes have been made to them, which makes the strong sales figures more impressive.

The new iPhones are going on sale on September 25 and will be available from Apple and a variety of carriers and retailers. |
