ZTE's latest high-end lineup is now rumoured to get a new member. After the Axon Pro and Axon Elite, the company will also release a high-end tablet, which has now been spotted on GFXBench. There is no word on pricing or availability, but hopefully it will be launched soon.
The ZTE Axon tablet with ZTE A2016 model number has been benchmarked and some of the specs have been confirmed. The tablet features a 13.7-inch display with a resolution of 1,080 x 1,920, Qualcomm's flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 810, clocked at 1.9 GHz and Adreno 430 GPU. Other specs include 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of expandable storage, a 7 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front snapper.
At first, the tablet looks to have nice specifications, but it all depends on the design and pricing. If ZTE does well in those two segments, it could be a real threat to other manufacturers.
