After months of rumours, the Chinese company Meizu has finally announced the Pro 5 handset. The smartphone will launch in China next month and shortly after, on November 15, the Pro 5 will get the Flyme OS 5.0 update. Other markets will have the 5.0 version pre-installed.

The company's new high-end phablet features an all-metal design that houses a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 1,080 x 1,920 pixels resolution and a 2.5D curved glass with a Home button on the bottom, which is also a fingerprint scanner.

It is powered by the Exynos 7420 chipset, the same one used in Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note5. Two versions are available, one with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage and other with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. There is a 21.16-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX 230 CMOS sensor and a 5-megapixel front camera.
