At the same day as Google, only a few hours earlier, HTC announced two new smartphones. The first one is the Butterfly 3, while the other was expected to be the One A9. Instead, the second phone is the One M9+ Supreme Camera, or should we say the improved version of One M9+ model. The availability and global price details are yet to be confirmed.

HTC Butterfly 3

The Butterfly 3 is actually a new international version of the already available J Butterfly, which was exclusive to Japan. It features a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, Qualcomm 810 octa-core processor with 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage and a 2,700 mAh battery.

The back side has two camera sensors - the main camera has a 20.2 MP, while the second only captures distance information for post-shot autofocusing and other creative effects. The front camera is a 13 MP unit with a BSI sensor and a faster f/2.0 aperture.

It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7 on top and will be launched in Taiwan on October 20, priced at around $600.

HTC One M9+ Supreme Camera

The new version of M9+ is all about the camera. It has the exact same specifications as the standard One M9+, including a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, powered by 2.2 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6795T Helio X10 processor and 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and a 2840 mAh.

The only changes are made to the rear camera, which is the same dual-lens design with a new 21-megapixel sensor with autofocus, OIS and a f/2.2 aperture. The front camera is still the same UltraPixel unit.
