Motorola's Droid Turbo 2 has cleared its certification by the Global Certification Forum, indicating a launch may be just around the corner. The device passed through its certification as model number XT1585, a model number that has previously been connected to the Droid Turbo 2.

The phone will reportedly come with a 5.4-inch Quad HD display, Snapdragon 810 processor, a 3760 mAh battery, a 21-megapixel camera, 32/64 GB of storage, and 3 GB of RAM.

Motorola is expected to offer the Droid Turbo 2 through the Moto Maker site, enabling additional customization of the phone.
