ODM Quanta Computer shipped 4.3 million notebooks in September 2015, increasing 5% on month, 11.8 million units during the third quarter, growing 10.3% on quarter, and 37.8 million units in January-September, according to the company.

Fellow maker Compal Electronics shipped 4.5 million notebooks in September, hiking 41% on month, 10.5 million units in the third quarter, rising 10.9% sequentially, and 29.4 million units in January-September, the company said.

Quanta recorded consolidated revenues of NT$101.33 billion (US$3.08 billion) for September, increasing 11.44% on month and 18.99% on year, and NT$275.897 billion for the third quarter, rising 9.92% on quarter and 12.92% on year, and NT$732.1 billion for January-September, growing 8.51% on year.
