Shortly after the F103L smartphone passed through TENAA certification agency, Gionee has officially announced the handset. Gionee F103L is a mid-range phone and also the company's first ever made in India, priced at INR 9,999 (around $150) and available in three color options.

The options include Pearl White, Dawn White, and Black. The smartphone has a 5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by MediaTek MT6735 SoC with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable memory, and a 2,400 mAh battery. It also has an 8 MP rear and a 5 MP front camera and runs Android Lollipop with Amigo 3.0 UI.
