The 13.5-inch laptop has been unveiled on October 6 and immediately went on sale on the company's website. Various Surface Book versions were available, ranging from $1,499 to $2,099, but only 5 days later, Microsoft has managed to sell out all Surface Book laptops.

The company has stopped taking pre-orders for the Surface Book and customers can choose the "email me when available" option to be notified. Since we have no idea on a number of available laptops, we can't comment on how many were sold. But one thing is sure, there is a high-demand for it.
