Samsung has launched a new, inexpensive smartphone that is targeted at the Indian market. The Z3 is a $130 handset that runs the Tizen operating system instead of Android. Just like the Z1, a Tizen phone that was released in India earlier this year, the Z3 is just for the Indian market. The Z1 proved very popular and ended up selling over a million units.

The Z3 will be sold for 8490 rupees ($130) and it will be available in gold, silver, and black. Samsung is releasing the phone on October 21.
Included with the device is a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of expandable storage, and a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. |
