Back in April, ZTE released two new high-end smartphones, the Nubia Z9 Max and Nubia Z9 Mini. New rumours suggest the company is working on improved versions of the phones called ZTE Nubia Z9 Max Elite Edition and the ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini Elite Edition, which could launch soon in China. Both smartphones leaked today thanks to promotional flyers, which reveal some specifications.

The Nubia Z9 Max Elite will get a USB Type-C port and an embedded fingerprint sensor in the side-mounted power button. The rest will be the same. The Mini Elite model will arrive with 3 GB of RAM instead of 2 GB and will get some new software features.
