Xiaomi is a well-known manufacturer of smartphones, but that is not the only thing the company is selling. They have a number of devices in their portfolio, including fitness trackers, smart TVs, smart scale, power banks etc. Today, the company announced the new 60-inch smart TV.

The Xiaomi 4K Mi TV 3 features a 60-inch display powered by LG's 4K panel, and is very thin, measuring 11.6mm at its thinnest point and 36.7 mm at the thickest point. It has an aluminum frame with a metal backplate and comes in two parts, the display itself and the speaker box.

The speaker box actually contains all the hardware and packs four 2.5-inch mid-range subwoofers. The box has three HDMI inputs, USB 3.0 + USB 2.0 ports, VGA input, Ethernet, AV in, RF in, and subwoofer out. The system runs on Android 5.1 with Xiaomi's custom UI.

The expected price tag is RMB 4,999 ($799/€699).
