Another variant of the One M9 lineup has been launched in China. The HTC One M9e is the standard One M9 with some specs of the new One A9 smartphone. The smartphone has the same specifications as the One M9, except for the rear camera that is borrowed from One A9.

Instead of using the 20-megapixel sensor, which supports 4K video recording, the smartphone is using the 13-megapixel sensor with OIS support. Unfortunately, this means no 4K video recording, only 1080p.

It is available in China for CNY 2,700 ($425/€385), which is more than the One M9+.
