Microsoft recently confirmed that the Surface mini was an actual device, but it was never announced. Right away, many asked if the rumoured Surface Phone is real. According to a report, it is as "a few machines away, another machine works on a prototype of a new phone."

Except for a few whispers, not much is known about it. Considering Microsoft has a laptop, a tablet and a sports band, it seems logical to announce a Surface Phone. After the acquisition of Nokia's smartphone business, we haven't seen much difference in design and this could be the company's completely new smartphone.
