Apple's fourth fiscal quarter report reveals the company sold 48 million iPhones in three months and pulled in $51.5 billion. In terms of revenue and iPhone sales, Apple did almost exactly as well as analysts expected it to. When compared to the same quarter last year, iPhone sales were up 22.1%.
Since this report covers the last few months, the next one will show how much the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPad Pro, and new Apple TV have affected the company.
One of the main weak points in the report dealt with the iPad. Apple sold under 10 million tablets during the quarter, resulting in a 20% decline compared to last year. |
