On November 5, Huawei could announce its long rumoured Kirin 950 chipset. The company is sending out invites for the event, and according to the image, Kirin 950 is the main topic. Since the flagship chipset is powering the Mate 8, we could see the phone's announcement as well.

The high-end Kirin 950 is manufactured using TSMC's 16nm FinFet process and features an octa-core processor, where four of those cores are Cortex-A72 clocked at 2.4 GHz and the other four are Cortex-A67. The CPU will be paired with Mali-T880 GPU. The rest of the specs include LPDDR4 support and Cat.10 LTE connectivity.
