IC distributor Zenitron expects touch panel IC and USB 3.0 products to be the main revenue growth drivers in 2011.
Zenitron mainly distributes touch panel ICs from Cypress, and has successfully entered the supply chains of brand-name vendors for tablet PCs, handsets and GPS navigation devices. It also distributes Windows 7-certified touch panel solutions from Rohm and touch panels from HannStar Display.
For USB 3.0, Zenitron is the distributor for Fresco and Fujitsu. The company expects strong shipments from host products, but the device side could experience strong price competition.
Also the sales agent for SanDisk, Zenitron will benefit from rising demand for flash memory cards used in smartphones in 2011, the company said.
For the first 11 months of 2010, Zenitron's combined revenues reached NT$29.09 billion (US$967 million), up 46% on year.
