Huawei is set to announce a new chipset on November 5, where we expected to see a new smartphone as well, which is powered by the Kirin 950 chipset. Instead, the company has scheduled a new event for November 26 where it will announce the Mate 8 handset.

The just released teaser for the Mate 8 shows the number eight with a date of November 26. This is also in line with previous rumours, which were saying that the Huawei Mate 8 will be announced in a late November, or early December.
