Nanya Technology saw its October revenues increase 6.3% on month while fellow DRAM company Inotera Memories' revenues decreased 2.1%.
Nanya has reported consolidated revenues of NT$3.41 billion (US$105.2 million) for October 2015, down 17.8% on year, however. Its cumulative 2015 revenues through October totaled NT$36.94 billion, slipping 9.6% from a year earlier.
Nanya has shifted its focus to making specialty DRAM and other niche-market memory chips.
Inotera announced October revenues of NT$4.45 billion, representing a 33.7% decline compared to the same period in 2014. The figure is an estimate as its customer is unable to provide final prices by the 10th of each month due to its closing cycle.
Inotera sells all of its manufacturing output to Micron Technology. |
