According to a popular Leaksfly, Xiaomi could finally announce the long-rumoured Mi 5. The leakster suggest that Xiaomi will announce Mi 5 during a special event on December 3, shortly after Qualcomm announces its flagship Snapdragon 820 chipset this month.

According to a report, Qualcomm will hold an event on November 20 where it will announce its next-gen chipset, but smartphones with the mentioned chipset won't ship before early next year.

Apart from Snapdragon 820, it is expected that Xiaomi Mi 5 will have a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, 4 GB of RAM, a 16 MP rear camera, an 8 MP front shooter, a fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port and the latest version of MIUI software. The 5.2-inch display should feature ClearForce technology, similar to the Force Touch and 3D Touch technologies.
