Intel's low-power Atom, Pentium and Celeron chips will soon get several new models. Three new Intel Atom chips based on Cherry Trail architecture will be released along with three Braswell-based chips. First products with these chips will be out in January 2016.
The new Intel Cherry Trail chips feature higher CPU burst frequencies and improved stability, thanks to a fix for alpha blending and ATSC graphics issues. The new Intel Braswell-based chips include Celeron J3060, J3160 Celeron and J3170 Pentium, which also has higher burst speeds and Intel 400/405 GPUs. |
