Xiaomi has silently launched the new, improved version of Redmi 2A. Dubbed the same as before, the enhanced Redmi 2A smartphone comes with the same design, but with new hardware. What is also important is that although it has better specs, it kept the same price tag.

The handset now features 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, double than before. Rest of the specifications are the same as the original Redmi 2A. You get a 4.7-inch 720p display, Leadcore LC1860 SoC with a quad-core CPU, 8 MP rear camera, 2 MP front-facing camera, and a 2,200 mAh battery.
