HTC has delayed the One A9's preorder shipments in the United States and that's especially bad news for Sprint and Verizon customers. The company says all shipments have been delayed by at least a few days, but Sprint customers could wait over a month to get their units. HTC also says the release of the phone on Verizon has been indefinitely delayed.
For the gray and silver unlocked variants on T-Mobile and AT&T, shipments will begin on November 10; for Sprint customers, shipments will begin in late November.
For the gold unlocked variant on T-Mobile and AT&T, shipments will begin in late November; for Sprint customers, shipments will begin in mid-December.
For the red unlocked variant on T-Mobile and AT&T, shipments will begin in early December; for Sprint customers, shipments will begin in mid-December.
The One A9 was supposed to begin shipping on November 6 and the gold and red versions were always set to ship several weeks later.
HTC will provide a 25% discount on accessories because of the delay and Verizon customers can contact HTC to change their order. |
