iFixit's teardown of the iPad Pro has revealed the tablet comes with a USB 3.0-ready Lightning connector, something Apple didn't mention. With this technology found in the device, the iPad Pro supports much faster charging. The older USB 2.0 standard maxed out at 480 Mbps, whereas USB 3.0 can support 5 Gbps.

Until an adapter is available for the table, the faster data transfer speeds will not be available, however. Since existing cables don't support the USB 3.0 standard, users will remain stuck with slower transfers until an adapter is on the market.
