Metal chassis maker Foxconn Technology has reported net profits of NT$2.914 billion (US$88.75 million) for the third quarter of 2015, up 0.7% sequentially and 11.6% on year.

EPS for the third quarter stood at NT$2.09, compared to NT$2.08 of a quarter earlier and NT$1.9 of a year earlier.

For the first three quarters of 2015, net profits increased 103.3% on year to NT$8.776 billion on revenues of NT$74.06 billion. The earnings translated into an EPS of NT$6.25 for the nine-month period.

Foxconn Technology's growth momentum has come from chassis orders for Apple's iPhone 6s devices, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.

The company's sales will remain strong in the fourth quarter thanks to iPhone 6s orders, said the paper.
