Kevin Wang, research director for IHS Technology, says Apple's next iPhone is going to launch before September 2016. Backing up some earlier reports, Wang says the iPhone 6C will be introduced in mid-2016 and it will come with a 4-inch display. Wang made this statement on Weibo.

KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also stated in a research note that the iPhone 6C would arrive in early 2016. In his report, Kuo said the phone would come with an A9 processor.

Reports have said the 4-inch iPhone will essentially be just as fast as other new iPhones, but it will lack a large display and it won't have 3D Touch.
