Lenovo has announced a new smartphone in China called Vibe X3. The handset comes in three different variants and although they share the same overall design, the used hardware is different. The top model costs CNY 2,999 ($470) while the entry model is CNY 1,899 ($300).
The two models have a lot in common and only differ in storage amount - 32 or 64 GB. They are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset, 3 GB of RAM, a 3,600 mAh battery, and support microSD cards and dual-SIM 4G cards. There is a 23 MP rear camera with Sony's high-end IMX230 sensor and an 8 MP front camera.
The base model has the same 5.5-inch 1080p display protected by Gorilla Glass 3, but is powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage and a 3,400 mAh. The camera department also received some cuts - there is a 16 MP rear and a 5 MP front camera. |
