Huawei is expected to announce the long-rumoured Mate 8 phablet this week, on November 26. Today, new rumours and images have leaked out about the true successor for last year's Ascend Mate7, confirming almost everything we need to know about the handset.
The Mate 8 employs metal build that will be available in grey, gold, and copper. The 6-inch 1080p display will have a 2.5D glass on top and has almost no bezels. Underneath rear camera is a fingerprint scanner.
The rest of the specs include Kirin 950 SoC, a 16 or 20 MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, an 8 MP selfie shooter, 3 or 4 GB of RAM, up to 64 GB of storage, a 4,100 mAh battery and Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Huawei's Emotion UI on top. |
