Lenovo is set to get rid of its Vibe smartphone brand, according to reports out of China. The company is currently selling smartphones under three brands: Motorola, Vibe, and Lemon. By removing the Vibe lineup, the company will greatly consolidate its sale of mid to high-end phones.

Tech QQ, which reportedly spoke to Chen Xudong, a Lenovo executive, claims the company will now focus on selling mid-range and premium phones under the well-known Motorola brand. Lenovo purchased Motorola from Google in October 2014.

New Motorola phones will be released for as little as $235 and as much as $780. Lenovo's Lemon brand will continue filling in the low-end with phones around the $100 mark.

Officially, Lenovo has gone on the record denying the Vibe brand is going to be cut.
