Latest reports suggest that the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi is working on a device that will be powered by the world's first mobile deca-core chipset, the MediaTek Helio X20 chipset. The handset won't be a flagship device, but rather a new aggressively-priced Redmi handset.
This seems a rather surprising since the Helio X20 is a high-end chipset. Considering it recently launched Redmi Note 3, which is powered by Helio X10 chipset, the company could release improved version of Redmi Note 3 that will be powered by the mentioned chipset. The expected release date is in the early 2016. |
